
I offer culturally sensitive counselling both in English and Spanish. I believe that understanding someone’s culture and world-view is a key element in the therapeutic work. I work with children, adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds who are suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, attachment issues and trauma.

I help couples improve their communication by exploring how they each look at the world through their own cultural lenses.
I help families facing challenges while raising their children in a culture that may be different from the one they grew up in.

I work with clients facing life crisis such as divorce, relationship problems, parenting issues, grief, career change, health concerns, abuse, bullying, etc.

Sometimes past experiences have long lasting negative effects that prevent us from moving forward in life. These experiences from our past may keep us from having healthy relationships, fulfilling careers and enjoyable, meaningful lives.

I can work with you to help you process challenging experiences (past and present) to facilitate your journey towards personal healing and growth. I have extensive clinical training and experience in psychodynamic therapy. This type of therapy allows for a deeper understanding of your present situation which can result in meaningful personal changes. The therapeutic journey however is the result of the client and the therapist working together.
